Andrew Oliver Scout Event 2022

Date: 8th Jun 2022 Author: Peter Wood

On Saturday 14th May the scout Andrew Oliver Incident Hike took place around Wetherby in the countryside with 7 out of 13 groups taking part entering a total of 18 teams of 4.

The weather stayed kind to us and all teams completed the incidents organised by the section leaders over the 7 miles which they walked.

Bardsey Scout won both the District Flag and the Andrew Oliver trophy and a great time was had by all.

Special thanks for making sure that this event took place go to John Smallwood and Phil Guise who planned and delivered the route and to Peter Moretti for completing the scoring.

Thanks also go to Active Support for providing the catering and to the leaders and young people for supporting this event which has now been running over 30 years and long may it continue.
