Scouting runs entirely on volunteers. People from all walks of life help in many different ways to support us in providing life changing adventure and skills for life to young people in the Wetherby District.

For an informal chat about the types opportunities we could offer, please contact Mick Bee, our Acting District Commissioner at dc@wetherbydistrictscouts.org.uk

There is so much you could offer, and you can give as much or as little time as you want to. We will tailor the opportunities and support to suit you, and you do not need to have been a Scout or Guide in the past to join us.

There really is a role for everyone, ranging from working directly with young people, to supporting, management and trustee roles. There is support and training to help you get the most out of any role in Scouting. We are always on the lookout for new people with new ideas to help improve what we do.

We have thousands of young people who are waiting to join Scouting and start their adventure, could you help them do this? If you would like to know more about getting involved, we would love to hear from you.

Put your phone down and what are you left with? Just teamwork, courage and the skills to succeed.’
