Hello everyone,
Just a friendly reminder that our District AGM is coming up on Thursday 10th September. This year, Scholes Scout Hut has kindly agreed to host us.
Scholes Scout hut, Rakehill Road, Scholes, LS15 4AJ
We’ll be welcoming everyone from 7:00pm, ready for a 7:30pm start.
We’ll begin with the formal AGM business, getting the necessary processes out of the way, before moving on to something a little more informal. There will be stands and opportunities to chat with members of the Leadership Team, giving you a chance to hear about what’s been happening across the District, ask questions and find out more about the work going on across our Sections and teams.
There will also be food available afterwards and drinks throughout the evening, so please come along, grab a bite to eat and have a chat with the team!
Interested in joining the Trustee Board?
We currently have places available for anyone who may be interested in joining the Trustee Board. If you’d like to find out more, please contact John Smallwood at chair@wetherbydistrictscouts.org.uk.
A quick reminder that, for the formal AGM procedures, we need to know the names of anyone wishing to raise matters or put themselves forward ahead of the AGM. Anything raised at the AGM that hasn’t been notified in advance may not be able to be formally considered.
We’d love to see as many of you as possible and hope you can join us for the evening.
