Could you help to develop and deliver a fun, challenging and high quality programme for 14-18 year old Explorer Scouts?

If so, we could use your talents to help transform the lives of young people, support them to achieve the highest awards and give them skills for life. You’ll also learn new skills – and have fun!

We have seven Explorer Units operating across Wetherby District and a Young Leader Training Unit. We are looking for people to join Unit leadership teams and flexible volunteering is welcomed, so you don’t have to be able to attend every meeting.

Whether you are new to scouting or have some previous experience, we will support you in your new role and guide you through the training. These roles require a DBS check and your training will lead to a Wood Badge (you have up to 3 years to complete this).
